David Hay, President of Essential Strategies, Inc. has written the book,
Data Model Patterns: Conventions of Thought, published by Dorset House Publishers.

This book presents a comprehensive set of standard data model patterns for standard business situations. It sets a foundation with models of people and organizations, activities, products, and contracts, before moving into accounting and various manufacturing topics. It also includes models of the laboratory and document management. At the end, it covers more atomic standard models which are components of those presented elsewhere.
