Objects are the new religion in systems development techniques. While their advocates would suggest that they represent a radical departure from previous methods, in fact they build significantly on structured and data modeling tradition. These articles first introduce objects to a relational audience, and second describe an object oriented way of addressing data and function models. The last group of articles address a growing trend toward "object-oriented" analysis.
